The Artisan’s Oven
The Artisan’s Oven provides those premium breads we don’t make ourselves. Craig delivers them daily. Visit them at their quaint little bakery on Ingram Mill Road for a treat made daily from scratch with no preservatives or convenience products.
Askinosie Chocolate’s special dark chocolate headlines our famous Chocolate Gateau. You’ve got to try it to believe how good it is. Their internationally-acclaimed small-batch chocolate production is done by supporting the cocoa bean farmer with standards that surpass those which are considered “fair trade.” Take the awesome tour at their factory on Commercial Street.
Blackgate Farms, nestled in the heart of the Ozarks, offers an incredible range of mouth-watering beef from tender roasts, fork-tender sizzling steaks to gourmet quality burger. The difference: Blackgate Farms produces North American Red Devon beef without antibiotics, added hormones, pesticides, herbicides or drugs of any kind, while naturally providing Omega 3′s.
Circle B Ranch
Nestled in the gently rolling hills and woodlands of the southwest Missouri Ozarks, John and Marina Backes’ 90 acre pork farm is conveniently located in the town of Seymour, MO, just 32 miles east of Springfield, MO. Circle B Ranch provides a safe, all-natural home to breed, farrow and raise 100% Heritage Pork which includes Berkshire/Kurabota and Red Wattle. Farmers Market of the Ozarks
Farmers Market of the Ozarks operates a vibrant farmers market that contributes to the success of local food growers and producers, strengthens the local food economy and serves as a community gathering place for the Ozarks region. FMO combines farm fresh goodness, hand-crafted products and local eateries, all in one location that is easily accessible to the Ozarks community. This year consumers will watch the progress of the development and permanent pavilion that the market will be housed in this coming winter of 2013.
Fassnight Creek Farm
Dan and Kelly Bigbee work hard to provide Farmers Gastropub with the fruits of their labor during the summer and winter months. Their family-run farm located on South Fort Avenue has a sales barn where you can purchase their outstanding seasonal produce.
Flintrock Bison Ranch
Robert Long’s 100% grass-fed bison are an awesome sight grazing in the fields. This must have been what it looked like on the American plains in the early 1800s. Thanks to Flintrock Bison Ranch, we also have amazing Ossabaw heritage pork.

Greater Springfield Farmers’ Market
Rain or shine, 100 producers can be found at the Greater Springfield Farmers’ Market with bedding plants, fruits, vegetables, meats, herbs, coffee, honey, granola, fresh baked goods and other sweets, cut flowers, crafts made by local artisans, skin care and much more. Products you purchase from the Greater Springfield Farmers’ Market are produced less than 70 miles from the Springfield city limits! We are proud to be the largest “Producer Only” Farmers’ Market in Missouri and invite you to come see all we have to offer.
Millsap Farms CSA is a community-supported farm which offers members living near Springfield an opportunity to share in the harvest as well as the work of the farm. Curtis Millsap is committed to raising fresh, organic produce using sustainable practices. Join the CSA.
Middleton’s All-Natural Meats
At Middleton’s farm in Ozark all animals are controlled from conception to consumption. Their pigs enjoy grazing in the pastures and soaking in the sun, without any antibiotics or growth promoters. Their diet of grass and grain makes for the moistest, most-flavorful pork.
This hydroponic greenhouse located in Ozark, Missouri, specializes in lettuce. You’ll also find cucumbers and tomatoes on the menu from MOPRO Farms.
Murphy Orchard is a family owned business that supplies fresh produce. Peaches, apples, grapes, tomatoes, nectarines, and strawberries are grown direcly on the property. The orchard is located in Marionville, just 25 miles west of Springfield.
Ozark Mountain Coffee Co.
Since 1993, Ozark Mountain Coffee Co. has worked diligently to create the perfect cup of gourmet coffee from Ozark, Missouri. They import the finest Arabica coffee beans from around the world, and then roast them by hand in small batches. This attention to detail sets Ozark Mountain Coffee Company apart from all the others.
Ozark Mountain Orchard
Located in scenic Highlandville, MO, Ozark Mountain Orchard is dedicated to bringing you the best produce possible. In addition to bringing its delicious fruits to Farmers Gastropub, this family-owned and -operated orchard sells at the Farmers Market of the Ozarks and has a fruit stand on South Campbell Avenue in Springfield.
Ozarks Natural Foods
Ozarks Natural Foods is one of the few certified organic vegetable producers in Southwest Missouri. ONF grows cantaloupe, carrots, cucumbers, green beans, lettuces, okra, peas, peppers, spinach, strawberries, sweet corn and watermelon. They apply the same commitment to their grass-fed beef and pork.
Persimmon Hill Farm
Persimmon Hill Farm is a real berry, fruit and mushroom farm in the scenic Table Rock Lake country of Southwest Missouri. The farm started in 1982, turning vacant fields spotted with Persimmon trees into two acres of blueberries, with hives of honeybees for pollination. Today they grow blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, gooseberries, plums, shitake mushrooms, and more.
Red Monkey Foods
Right down the road in Mount Vernon, Missouri, there’s this little spice company with a serious commitment to organic spices, seasonings, and rubs. You’ll find Red Monkey Foods grinders on our tables and a whole spice-rack full in our kitchen.
Duncan and Tara Smith own and operate SpringHill Dairy in Texas County, Missouri. They were both farm kids and are now raising five farm kids of their own. SpringHill Dairy is a small, grass based dairy that produces small batches of fresh, healthy dairy products.
Sunny Lane Farms
Head West on Highway 160, almost to the Kansas State line, and you’ll run into Sunny Lane Farm in Lockwood, Missouri. They raise beef cattle, lambs, and pasture chickens on grass the way nature intended.
Terrell Creek Farm
Nestled in the hills of nearby Fordland, Missouri, you’ll find Terrell Creek Farm. The goat herd produces delicious goat’s milk that’s then hand-crafted into the finest goat cheese you’ll ever taste.
Urban Roots Farm
This farm truly has urban roots—nestled in Springfield’s West Central Neighborhood, Melissa and Adam Millsap are bringing a dream to reality. They strive to provide local food to people of all income levels, to educate and provide instruction to our community and its children on growing natural food locally.
Willow Mountain Mushrooms
Nestled in the Ozark Mountains of Southern Missouri, Willow Mountain Mushrooms has been providing naturally-grown, gourmet mushrooms since 2004. Their fresh-picked mushrooms are delivered directly to us, maintaining the wonderful natural flavor.
